This 100% blue fine wool women’s scarf is inspired by a minimalistic design ideology
The blue colour of this fine wool women’s scarf is inspired by the Indian city of Jodhpur – popularly known as the ‘blue city’. In Jodhpur, a wide ocean of blue houses stretches for several kilometres along the walls of the historic old town. A blue colour on a house used to indicate that a Brahmin (a priest) was living there. However, over time more and more non-Brahmins also applied the cooling blue colour on their houses. As a result, with time, most of old town was painted in shades of blue.
Our classic plain and check scarves are like the “little black dress” or “the classic white shirt” that is a must-have in any wardrobe.
