This pure fine wool brown checks scarf is very warm, lightweight, soft and comfortable to wear. The intricate design and earthy colours of this scarf are inspired by Chand Baori, a historic stepwell in the Jaipur, India.
Chand Baori is like an inverted pyramid, which does not grow towards heaven, but deep into the earth. As such, it was once a survival-critical step well for water storage. The lower part of the well, which could be reached by criss-cross stairs, was said to be 6 degrees cooler than the outside temperature. As a result, it was also a meeting place for the local community. The technical achievements relating to water storage and uniformity of the structure, create the unique character of this place.

| Care | This scarf is made from a natural fibre that is breathable. To refresh it, normally it is sufficient to simply air it out. In case washing is required, we recommend to dry clean it. However, if done correctly and carefully, wool and cashmere scarves can also be hand washed. To wash, add two teaspoons of baby shampoo or a special hand wash soap for wool in COLD water and soak the scarf in it. Let it work and DO NOT rub, wring or stretch. Rinse it carefully with cold water. Let the water carefully drop off, lay the scarf flat on a towel and let it dry naturally. DO NOT use heater, tumbler or sunlight. If in doubt, please dry clean. |
